We Should Cocoa - the December Challenge

After the mixed response we had to the Apple round-up, many of you asked for something "simple please" for Christmas. So, I've been mulling over the possibilities. What about Avocado? It's seasonal and comes from the same neck of the woods as cocoa. What could be more appropriate? Turkey maybe?

But no, I jest. I decided on my choice for this month's We Should Cocoa sometime ago. Seasonal, festive and if you're very lucky you'll find one in your stocking. It is a well established flavour pairing with chocolate and it's one of my favourite colours. The future's bright, the future's Orange!

    I don't understand what difference the challenge ingredient makes - surely the cook is the one who makes things simple or complicated?

  5. i've been waiting for this one for ages... and I can't believe you'd not done it before... such a BRILLIANT challenge... can't wait to get stuck in, plus I can think of a hundred dishes that I will already be making with orange and chocolate that are perfect for this... nice work my friend!

  7. How did you know that orange is my favourite colour! I have been theming my garden in orange this year and have a gorgeous array of orange blooms as well as loads of orange tulips that have been dug in for next spring. So, I am very happy with this choice and LOVE choc & orange as a flavour combination :-) xx
